MAJELAA is our short coat made from 100% recycled wool for lovers of timeless, high-quality styles that combine more sustainable materials with contemporary details: The coat boasts a high stand-up collar, slightly asymmetric button placket and modern boxy shape. What makes it special: Quality fabric from Manteco in Italy, which impresses with its outstanding durability and recyclability. No virgin material, no blended fabric - yet it offers the usual softness, breathability and crease and stain resistance of virgin wool. We also support a circular economy by reusing industrial waste and used garments and bypassing the dyeing process by blending recycled fibers to achieve vibrant colors. In this way, we give existing material a new purpose and promote quality and environmental responsibility.

Why MAJELAA WOOL makes a difference

Recycled Knitwear

This knit piece is made with recycled wool from consumer and production waste (pre- and post-consumer waste) to go easy on resources and save the CO2 emissions that would be released by production of new fibers. The recycled fibers are GRS (CU-1085700) certified to ensure environmental practises.

Recycled Wool

For our wool coats we’re using 100% recycled wool – an effective way to increase the life of the material and contribute to the circularity of the fiber. Adding up to the breathability, moisture regulation and anti-odor properties of wool.

Organic Cotton

Long-term studies of organic farms have shown that organic cotton production emits 18 percent less global warming potential than other farming systems. Additionally, as organic farming is designed with the soil health and biodiversity in mind, the organic soils tend to be healthier and more resistant to changing climate.*Read more
