Why NAARUKO makes a difference

Recycled Knitwear

This knit piece is made with recycled wool from consumer and production waste (pre- and post-consumer waste) to go easy on resources and save the CO2 emissions that would be released by production of new fibers. The recycled fibers are GRS (CU-1085700) certified to ensure environmental practises.

Wool

We only use chlorine-free wool from certified organic farms that carry the strict "Global Organic Textile Standard" (GOTS). The sheep are kept in a manner appropriate to their species and are gently shorn. Read more

Long-term studies of organic farms have shown that organic cotton production emits 18 percent less global warming potential than other farming systems.
