Two pairs of socks, one purpose. "STAND UP FOR EQUALITY" is both the name of our collaboration with UN Women Germany and an open invitation to everyone, but especially cis men to join and support women and non-binary people in their daily activism for a just world. 100% of the profit will be donated directly to UN Women Germany.

A SOLIDARITY MOVEMENT BY UN WOMEN

For far too long, gender equality has been presented as a "women's issue". HeForShe aims to change that and – since 2014 – has been calling on men to take an active part in ending all forms of violence and discrimination against girls and women. Because gender equality is everyone’s business.

ALL ABOUT PEOPLE, NOT NUMBERS

Only one-third of German parliament, 5% of CEOs and 13% of board members in Germany are women. Women earn 18% less and are responsible for one and a half times as much unpaid care work in the home, childcare and nursing. The numbers paint a clear picture. And yet "STAND UP FOR EQUALITY" is about so much more than just achieving certain quotas. It is an open invitation for everyone to reflect on their own privileges and positions, their everyday habits and behaviors.
